Fort Walton Beach, FL – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Fort Walton Beach man in connection with the false imprisonment and battery of his girlfriend.

28-year old Blaise Khamisi Albertie Chamberlain was arrested Thursday at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center after being treated for an unrelated motorcycle crash.
The 19-year old victim contacted the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Thursday morning around 5:30 and told deputies that Chamberlain had strangled her, struck her in the face with a handgun, and threatened to kill her while they were driving on Harbor Boulevard in Destin with a juvenile female in the back seat. The victim managed to jump out of his moving vehicle, ran behind a home and banged on the door until a resident assisted her.
Deputies say she had visible injuries including lacerations, bruising and swelling.
The victim stated that she met Chamberlain online approximately three weeks ago and had traveled from Ocala to stay with him at his home on Shirley Drive in Fort Walton Beach. She said that Chamberlain forced her to stay in a bedroom of the home and would only allow her to leave if he was with her. An adult female and juvenile female also resided at the residence and witnessed Chamberlain repeatedly assault the victim.
