Death Investigation On Navarre Beach

Navarre Beach, FL – A dead body found on Navarre Beach near a local restaurant is being treated as a Death Investigation according to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Shortly after 3:30 pm on Sunday, January 7, 2018, Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a parking lot near Juana’s Pagodas on Navarre Beach in reference to a body found in the parking lot. Upon arrival it was confirmed the individual was deceased.

Shortly after, Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Technicians arrived to begin an investigation.

According to Sgt. Rich Aloy with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, the body found was an adult and the incident is is being investigated as a death investigation.
