Destin Man Charged in Nightclub Stabbing

Destin, FL – A Destin man faces a felony charge after a bar fight led to a stabbing March 8th.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year old Shane Robbins for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Deputies were called to AJ’s on Harbor Boulevard in Destin around 1:30 a.m. Thursday in connection with a fight that had started inside the bar between Robbins and 33-year old Terrence Lowery of Niceville.
Witnesses say during the fight they heard Lowery yell out, and then Terence begin bleeding from the stomach. A security worker says while detaining Robbins he heard a thud and saw a knife on the ground next to them.
The victim was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for treatment of a stab wound to the right side of the abdomen.
Witnesses say the fight was over the victim dating Robbins ex-girlfriend who she cheated on Robbins with.
Robbins was also taken there for treatment of a broken eye socket.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges are possible.
