One Arm Man Wrecks Stolen Vehicle

Navarre, FL – A Car that was stolen from a fast food restaurant in Fort Walton Beach Saturday morning wrecked a few hours later in Navarre due to the suspect’s disability of having only one arm.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol news release, 24 year old Slater Glen Allen Cole of Mary Esther, FL, stole a 2015 Hyundai Elantra from the parking lot of What-A-Burger on US Hwy 98 in Fort Walton Beach after the driver left her keys inside her car.
Soon after, the vehicle was reported crashed on Costa Verde Court in Navarre. The Hyundai had left the roadway and collided with two embankments, a concrete drain, two trash cans, a mail box and finally two more trash cans before finally coming to rest in the driveway of 1916 Costa Verde Court.
Cole was transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center to be checked out.
When asked, Cole stated he crashed due to his disability of having only one arm. He was arrested at the hospital and transported to the jail.
