DeFuniak Springs Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges Following Search Warrant

DeFuniak Springs, Fla —  A 32-year-old man has been arrested on multiple counts of child porn charges.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 476 Bruce Avenue in DeFuniak Springs on Wednesday morning after a First Judicial Circuit Judge signed off on a search of the residence. Investigators from the Special Victims Unit and the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force conducted the search.

During the search SVU investigators located evidence while on-scene including photos and video that led to the arrest of Travis Lee Rogers on ten counts of possession of child pornography.

The video contained more than 30 images of prepubescent females ranging in ages from 3 to 12 years of age.

During a post Miranda interview, Rogers stated several times he was just looking at the pictures and did not think it was a “big deal”.

Rogers was transported and booked into the Walton County Jail without incident. The investigation is on-going and additional details will be released when they become available.
