Holt Man In Custody After Fleeing From Alabama Law Enforcement

Baker, FL – A Holt man is in custody after he lead law enforcement on a multi-state pursuit.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, deputies with the Escambia County, AL Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop 30 year old Louis Allen Scott of Holt, Fl for active felony warrants. Scott failed to stop and led law enforcement on a chase that entered into Okaloosa County Florida North of Baker.

After traveling down several dirt roads, Scott wrecked his vehicle in the area of Sherman Kennedy Rd and Finkel Rd and fled into the woods on foot.

Scott was later apprehended after a 5+ hour man hunt that involved the assistance of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, FWC and the Okaloosa Correctional Instution.
