OCSO Investigating Armed Robbery at FWB Area Restaurant

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery of the Sonny’s BBQ restaurant at 925 Beal Parkway last night.

Employees say two men entered the business around 9:30 p.m. and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators say there is no connection to a phoned-in bomb threat in reference to the restaurant that was received by the Fort Walton Beach Police Department Monday morning.

Authorities said no one was injured.
