OCSO Investigating Suspicious Death of Toddler

Crestview, FL – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the suspicious death of a three-year old girl.

Deputies responded to a home on Bobolink Way, just east of Crestview, at approximately 12:30 p.m. this afternoon in reference to a missing child.

While searching the area for the missing toddler, the body of the three year old girl was discovered at approximately 4:30 p.m. in a wooded area off of Highway 90 near the Walton County line.

During the course of the investigation, deputies took two individuals into custody for questioning.

Investigators are actively working the case and no additional details are expected to be released tonight, however an update will be provided once additional information in the case is gathered and confirmed.
