Fort Walton Beach Police Department Arrests Two Suspects After Shooting Incident

Fort Walton Beach—the Fort Walton Beach Police Department responded to a report of shots fired around 12:19 this morning at 11 SE Eglin Parkway.

Upon arrival, officers observed six individuals physically fighting in the parking lot. Three of the subjects received non-life threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for treatment.

Upon further investigation, officers arrested 36 year old Daniel James Wildeman who was charged with aggravated assault. The second suspect, 21 year old Santiago Dominique Gescat was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Both subjects reside at 19 Chestnut Avenue, SE, Apt 2, in Fort Walton Beach.

Wildeman and Gescat were transported and released to the custody of the Okaloosa County Department of Corrections.
