Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Busier Than Normal During 4th of July

The 4th of July is always one of the busiest times in Okaloosa County with tens of thousands of visitors pouring in to enjoy the Emerald Coast.

It’s also exceptionally busy for the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, as the numbers below show. Here’s a sample of some of the calls for service received from June 30th through July 6th:
