A Pensacola man was convicted by an Escambia County Jury for Trafficking in Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was immediately sentenced to 27 years in state prison.

An investigation into narcotics by undercover officers with the Vice and Narcotics Unit at the Pensacola Police Department led to the arrest of 37 year old Tristan Jamaal Fairley, of Pensacola, and to the seizure of money, heroin and drug paraphernalia.
On October 6, 2016 officers with the Pensacola Police Department Vice and Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant on Fairley’s residence in the 1000 Block of North “M” Street. During the search of Fairley’s residence, officers recovered 45 grams of heroin worth approximately $14,000.00, a digital scale and more than $4,500.00 in cash.
Fairley was on Federal probation for the sale of cocaine at the time he was arrested for the offense.
