Okaloosa County Commission Plans Executive Session

The Okaloosa County Commission will conduct an Executive Session at the conclusion of its regularly scheduled Board meeting on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the City Council Meeting Room located at the City Hall of Crestview, 198 North Wilson Street, Crestview Florida 32536 to discuss ongoing litigation. The Executive Session will begin following the completion of the matters on the agenda for the Regularly Scheduled July 11th Meeting. It is estimated to begin at approximately 10:30 a.m. and will last for approximately thirty (30) minutes.
The subject matter of the executive session is to discuss litigation strategy and settlement relating to the lawsuit Sandman, LLC v, Okaloosa County. The discussions in this session shall be confined to settlement negotiations or strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures as to these litigation matters. The session will be recorded by a certified court reporter. The meeting will last approximately thirty (30) minutes and will be attended by Chairman Carolyn N. Ketchel, Vice-Chairman Graham Fountain, Commissioner Trey Goodwin, Commissioner Kelly Windes, Commissioner Nathan Boyles, County Administrator John Hofstad, County Attorney Greg Stewart, and the certified court reporter.
Following the closed session, the Board will reconvene in open session in the County Commission Meeting Room, at which time, Chairman Ketchel will announce the termination of the executive session. The Board at that time shall take such action as is necessary on this matter and will adjourn the regularly scheduled Board meeting. The Okaloosa County Administrative Building is located at 1250 N.
