Bay County Traffic Stop Reveals Drugs

Bay County FL -Traffic Stop reveals drugs after vehicle attempts to elude law enforcement and driver flees on foot.

On May 25, 2017, at approximately 11:30am a Florida Highway Patrol trooper attempted to stop a maroon 2004 Chrysler on US 231 and Titus for a seatbelt violation.

The driver fled from the trooper southbound and crossed the median and onto oncoming traffic and traveled south on Cherokee Heights. The trooper began to follow the vehicle and observe the vehicle stop and a white female got out of the vehicle and was later identified (27 year old) Kayla Burgett of Panama City. The trooper detained Burgett, and began to follow the marks on the roadway made from the vehicle’s tires that were blown out during the median crossing.

The trooper followed the trail until he found the vehicle on Tram Road. The driver who was later identified as (21 year old) Thomas Kyle Mosher of Lynn Haven fled on foot. A search was conducted on the vehicle and numerous narcotics were found inside the vehicle. Mr. Mosher was later arrested and the passenger was later released with no charges.
