Crestview Man Victim of Shooting on Okaloosa Island Early This Morning

Okaloosa Island – An investigation is underway into a shooting that took place at an apartment on Okaloosa Island around 7:15 this Saturday morning.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple shots in the area of Walton Isle apartments on Bluefish Drive.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to investigate and received word a short time later of a man with a gunshot wound undergoing treatment at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.

The injured man has been identified as 27-year old Eddie Moore of Chestnut Avenue in Crestview. Moore’s injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.
