OCSO Investigating Armed Robbery on Green Acres Road

Wright, FL – A Shell Gas Station was robbed at gun point early this morning.

Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station located at 443 Green Acres Road in the Wright area this morning.

Upon arrival deputies made contact with store clerk who informed them that a black male in his early twenties wearing black jogging pants and a black hoodie style jacket entered the store around 4:00 a.m. and demanded money.

The clerk further told deputies the robber, who was armed with a revolver, demanded all the money and then made the clerk to lie on the floor.

When a newspaper delivery woman came in and accidently interrupted the would be robber, the robber fled the area.

The news release from did not say if the robber obtained any money or a news paper.
