Early Morning Disturbance at a Crestview Bar Ends With at Least One Person Shot

Crestview, FL – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that deputies believe took place at a nightspot on West James Lee Boulevard in Crestview earlier this morning.

Deputies were called to the Split Oaks Saloon around 2:30 a.m. in reference to calls of shots fired and a large disturbance.

No victims were at the scene when they arrived, but within moments a call was received from North Okaloosa Medical Center indicating a man had arrived with a gunshot wound to the leg.
