June 1, 2017

An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputy doing a security check near Santa Rosa Mall around 2:30 A.M. Wednesday morning spotted a car pulled up to a strip mall on Page Bacon Road in Mary Esther. Inside the car was a man holding a screwdriver in his hand. It turned out to be 38-year old Larry Wayne Hoss Jr. of Miramar Beach, a suspect in multiple recent burglaries.
The deputy didn’t find any evidence that Hoss had burglarized any businesses at the strip mall overnight, but Hoss was arrested on charges of breaking into Friendship Veterinary Clinic on Beal Parkway May 22nd, Simply Vapor on Mary Esther Boulevard May 24th, and Valero Gas Station on Eglin Parkway May 25th .
Hoss is also the suspect in the May 29th burglary of High-tech Cleaners on Eglin Parkway.
At the time of the arrest, Hoss was in possession of a crack pipe with cocaine residue.
