Manhunt For Eric Russell Ends In Arrest!

A man wanted in several counties, and states, is now in custody thanks to a joint effort by several agencies.

Walton County deputies apprehended Eric Russell at approximately 10:00 p.m. in the area of Adams Drive and Wallace Road.

Russell is responsible for wreaking havoc across Okaloosa County into Walton County over the last several days, stealing trucks & ATVs and running from deputies. He is also responsible for the death of Okaloosa Correctional K9 “Freckles” who passed away while tracking Russell.
