Sheriff’s Office Investigating Stabbing Incident From Monday Night

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that took place on Colonial Drive near Fort Walton Beach Monday night.

Deputies were called to the Royale Apartments around 8 p.m. after receiving a call that a man had been stabbed in the back. The 32-year old victim, who has a Ponce de Leon address, was transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and was in stable condition.

An OCSO K9 Unit was called to the scene. They were able to establish a track and within fifteen minutes had made contact with a potential suspect.

The investigation is ongoing and additional details will be released as developments warrant.
