Two People Found Dead In Local Motel

On 1/31/17 at approximately 7:00 am, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to 2 individuals found deceased at the Emerald Sands Suites which are located at 6425 Hwy 90 in Milton.

Deputies arrived after dispatch received the call and located 2 deceased individuals in a room. Shortly after, Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene and Major Crimes Detectives arrived.

At this time, we are working this incident as a death investigation. There are initial indicators of foul play but the scene is still active.
