UPDATE: FHP Identifies Teenage Victim Of Holmes County Traffic Fatality

A 16 year old Dothan teenager was the victim of a fatal car wreck on Sunday, November 20th.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol news release, Robert Zachery Spears of Dothan, AL was traveling southbound on State Road 79 in a white Nissan Altima when he left the roadway and collided with a tree.
At first FHP was unable to identify Spears due to unknown reasons.
Spears, who was identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a single vehicle Traffic Fatality that occurred in Holmes County.
This crash occurred at approximately 9:26 p.m. on Sunday, November 20th on State Road 79 at McKay Lane. The vehicle involved in the crash was a 2007-2009 Nissan Altima, white in color with a sun roof. It was being driven by a white male, 20 – 30 years of age. It appears that the white male was between 5’7” and 6’0” in height. The driver did not have identification on his person and is currently listed as John Doe.
