OCSO Investigating Vehicle Break-in Spree in Blue Water Bay

More than fifteen unlocked cars were burglarized in the Bluewater Bay area late Tuesday night or early Tuesday morning but nothing of significant monetary value was inside the vehicles.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies say the break-ins took place on Meadow Woods Lane, Wright Circle, Whitewood Way, and Turnberry Lane. While they were taking reports, a number of other residents leaving for work stopped and said their cars were burglarized as well, however they did not want to file a report.

Investigators meantime are trying to identify the individual in the photos below in connection with the car burglaries. In addition, a 2009 white Honda Accord was stolen from a home on Meadow Woods Lane. The owner says a spare key was inside the car.
