Adams Sanitation Starts Picking up Garbage for City of Crestview First Week of October

September 7, 2023

Crestview, FL — If you have noticed all the shiny new maroon garbage cans being delivered in the city limits of Crestview and wondering why, it’s because Adams Sanitation will take over the sanitation contract for the City of Crestview effective October 1st.

Adams Sanitation is in the process of delivering all new garbage and recycling cans to the residential address in the city limits of Crestview. Until the first week of October, please continue to use the cans marked Waste Pro.

Once the transition takes place, Waste Pro will collect their cans.

Unlike Waste Pro, Adams Sanitation will provide a 96-gallon yellow top roll cart for recycling, the black lid 96-galllon roll cart is to be used for trash.

Items that can be placed in the recycling cart are:

 Newspapers (including inserts)

– Clean cardboard

– Mixed paper

– Clean aluminum cans

– Plastic containers and bottles marked with codes 1 through 7

– Clean glass bottles and jars

– Clean tin and ferrous cans
