Crestview City Council to Discuss Medical Marijuana, Easements for Access Roads and Traffic Impact Fees Among Other Items of Business Tonight at 6 PM

Crestview, FL – Tonight at 6:00 p.m. the regular Second Monday meeting of the Crestview City Council will be held at City Hall.
The Consent Agenda includes approval of various agreements, contracts, and payment of invoices. There is approval of a contract for approximately $175,000 for asphalt overlay involving ten street locations in the City; approval of a contract for a traffic signal on North Ferdon and Commerce Drive.
There’s approval of some easements for an access Road at Crestview Corners.
There are three requests for Certificate of Compliance for alcoholic beverage permits: Publix on North Ferdon; Haskans Fine Wine and Spirits on South Ferdon; and Crestview Food Mart at 510 North Ferdon Boulevard.
Other items of business considered by the Council will be approval of the tentative property tax millage rate for 2018; approval of a two per cent increase in water and sewer rates. Other ordinances to be discussed include those on traffic impact fees; medical marijuana; and a request for a 60-day extension of the Camp Trailer Project.
The regular City Council Meeting is tonight at 6 p.m. and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will meet on Tuesday at 5pm, also at City Hall.
