Gulf Breeze Student Arrested with Firearm at School

Gulf Breeze, Fla — A Gulf Breeze student was arrested for Possession of a Firearm on School Property earlier today.

According to a news release from the Gulf Breeze Police Department, Gulf Breeze High School Resource Officers and school administration began investigating an alleged comment made by a student in reference to a threat of violence against another student.

During the investigation, a weapon was located on the school grounds and was secured immediately by officers. The student was arrested for Possession of a Firearm on School Property and Possession of a Firearm by a Minor. This case is still under investigation.
