Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Bank Robbery in Destin

Destin, Fla. – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery that took place in Destin on Wednesday, July 3rd.
At approximately 5pm, a white male entered the Truist Bank located at 34901 Emerald Coast Parkway in Destin Blvd.
The bank robber was wearing a dark blue and pink floral print shirt button up shirt with a collar, worn faded blue jeans, dark colored flip flips and a royal blue sun visor.
The unidentified white male who had on eyeglasses and a surgical mask that wraps around the ears, handed the teller a note demanding money and later left walking out the front door.
According to the press release, no firearm or other weapon was displayed, and no one was injured in the incident.
