Three People Shot, Two Life FLighted in Crestview Shooting

Crestview, FL — A drug related shooting in Crestview results with three people being shot.

According to a news release from the Crestview Police Department, officers responded to a shooting incident on Wednesday night shortly before 10:30 PM in the 1600 Block of East First Avenue.

The release stated the first 911 call placed informed emergency personnel that a person had been shot in the arm. A few moments later, a second 911 caller stated two people had been shot inside of a residence.

Two of the victims were life flighted to an area hospital and the third was transported by ambulance. All three are in stable condition.

It is believed the suspects went to the residence to purchase illegal drugs when the interaction turned violent. Investigators are continuing to develop leads as the investigation continues.
