The owner further stated Bowen did not have permission to be on the property or in the business.

The release did state the front door appeared to have been pried open with part of the lock mechanism laying outside the front door.

During a post Miranda interview, Bowen admitted to going in the business to look around thinking it belonged to a person named Nate. Bowen also stated in the interview that the front door was unlocked when she pulled on the doors but climbed over the locked gate. When asked, Bowen stated she was only looking at the utv’s and atv’s.

The arrest report stated Bowen was argumentative and somewhat combative and appeared to possibly be under the influence of an unknown drug.

Bowen is charged with burglary of a structure and grand theft of a motor vehicle and remains in the Okaloosa County Jail with no bond.
